Job summary
Amazon Consumer Talent Operations Marketing team is seeking a creative yet detail-oriented Copywriter/ Editor to develop and standardize candidate-facing content at the top of the recruitment funnel in Germany. This person will ensure our copy-based content is best-in-class by bringing a strong attention to detail and thorough knowledge of grammar, style guidelines and marketing. The right candidate must be passionate about writing, fluent in English and German and willing to dive deep to edit short- and long-form copy, proofreading final assets and maintaining style guides to elevate the candidate experience with a consistent brand voice.
Key job responsibilities
• Write copy for a variety of media including job descriptions, ad copy, email marketing content and other marketing materials
• Manage localization of marketing content to adapt to the specific aspects of German market
• Proofread text and edit text at various stages of the writing process for style, readability and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines
• Drive consistently to reflect the Amazon tone and voice in writing style
• Managing projects from start to finish, including coordinating supporting asset creation like photos, videos and graphics
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks in relation to content marketing production
• Experience working across countries and cultures
• Experience in Project management
• Experience editing in a media organization (e.g., newspaper, magazine or online publication) or professional environment (e.g., PR agency or corporate communications team)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
