THE TEAM
ASOS Marketplace is fundamental in supporting the ASOS mission to become the world's number-one destination for fashion-loving 20-somethings. The platform directly connects ASOS browsers and buyers to over 1000 Independent brands and Vintage sellers, who together provide a unique and curated offer of new, on-trend items as well as vintage, upcycled and recycled items.
THE ROLE
We are on the hunt for highly creative, fashion and trend-led Content Executive with a strong understanding of the social marketing space. The Content Executive will actively support the content vision for ASOS Marketplace and is confident in articulating new ideas to engage the Marketplace buyer and seller.
This person will be a strong team player and someone who is comfortable working at pace across multiple projects at a time. On a day-to-day basis, the Content Executive will collaborate with the Marketing team and seller management team to conceptualise and brief in key content requirements, and partner with central ASOS social and content teams to execute content for ASOS Marketplace across key marketing channels. The Content Executive will also support the overall marketing strategy by identifying key cultural moments and social trends relevant to the ASOS Marketplace audience.
What you’ll be doing…
The eyes and ears of the Marketplace by continuously researching the latest fashion and social trends, and bringing this to life through creation of compelling content and seasonal trend packs
Ensuring content ideas support wider business plans and succeed in driving awareness and engagement of our audience
Reacting quickly and creatively to new fashion and social trends, and work within a limited budget to suggest new ideas that would engage the Marketplace audience
Working with the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to set the tone and narrative for all content and marketing campaigns for ASOS Marketplace, while safeguarding the overall tone of voice for the ASOS brand
Tracking and utilising customer behavioural and social engagement metrics to identify key trends and action on new content
Producing all copy for Marketplace-owned channels, touchpoints and relevant ASOS.com campaigns
Managing Marketplace’s core social channels and upskilling the wider team to support where necessary
Maintaining and nurturing relationships with the ASOS global social teams to boost Marketplace cross-promotion
Producing owned content for Marketplace social channels in line with priorities and key calendar moments
Working collaboratively with Marketplace sellers, guiding sellers to produce engaging content for both their shops and Marketplace
Driving regular briefings with ASOS design team to execute content
Be an ambassador for ASOS Marketplace, both internally and externally
We’d love to meet someone with:
Experience in managing social media in young / Gen-Z fashion
Experience using content management systems
A creative eye and a passion for fashion
A strong knowledge of social trends and the overall social media landscape
Strong communication skills, and is able to clearly articulate creative ideas
Great collaboration and time management skills
