What you’ll achieve
As a Sales Planning and Strategy Consultant, you will drive key sales strategic initiatives while identifying and evaluating sales growth opportunities. This is a key role that will influence sales behavior and capabilities.

You will:

  • Be responsible for driving global sales, planning and business operations initiatives related to VMware business to attain global performance and profitability goals
  • Identify key stakeholders, work with/lead cross-functional teams and manage a rigorous working cadence driving alignment across regions, busines unit
  • Develop strategic and operational frameworks and collaborate with regional sales and GBO stakeholders to help drive critical business priorities
  • Be responsible for Go-To-Market analytics and data infrastructure for supporting business decisions; develop new analytical tools and support COO leadership in business analytics
  • Drive and support definition, development and reporting of key performance indicators aligned to strategic priorities; translate KPI results into business insights and influence business decision
  • Work closely to identify risks, opportunities and deliver insights for yearly and half-yearly financial plans as part of the AOP/IOP process

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3+ years with an MBA
  • Strong analytical skills using tools like advanced Excel, powerBI, SQL and Tableau
  • Run strategic programs holistically including building out core teams, structuring team meetings, updates to senior leadership, KPIs/Reporting
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and complex scenarios/situations
  • Understanding of key sales and management processes like pricing, product management and Dell reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills - able to deliver insights and recommendations to senior executives
