Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery, coordination and control of several multi-disciplinary working fronts within a scope or geographic area including cost, schedule and overall productivity
• Leads Environmental, Safety & Health implementation and ensures all work is carried out in adherence to a Zero Incident Philosophy
• Responsible for contractual duties in relation to issuing design to contractors, reviewing schedules, reviewing performance, certifying payments and assessing compensation events for time/cost
• Owns the long-term relationships at an operational and strategic level with contractors and external stakeholders
• Leads the implementation of the quality program and ensures documentation is handed over within agreed timelines and to the required standard
• Regularly interacts and partners with executives and/or major customers
• Responsible for hiring highly capable and effective people to deliver high performing teams
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned duties 

Qualifications and Skills:

Basic Qualifications:

• Grade 29: Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Grade 30: Typically requires a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant experience managing medium to large infrastructure projects including various delivery methods, such as Design-Build, Delivery Partner, Project Management/Construction Management, and Construction Management At Risk
• Licensed Professional Engineer (further preference to California PE)
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team to achieve results
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior management, clients and stakeholders
