Purpose of the role:

To work within a team servicing multiple customers, using our specialist knowledge and insight to ensure that we meet or exceed customer experience, expectations, service level agreements, and maximise potential revenue.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Understand and correctly record customer policies, bookings and profiles in all relevant company systems.
  • To highlight service, savings, processes and policy compliance opportunities to the operational management team.
  • To build strong relationships with internal and/or external customers.
  • To obtain an accurate and comprehensive customer needs brief by using appropriate questioning techniques.
  • To process bookings, amendments and cancellations within service level agreement (SLA) through multiple contact channels.
  • To deliver excellent customer service quality and accuracy in line with the expected standard of your role, ensuring you meet the requirements of the customer in a timely manner
  • Understand cross team/ dept impacts of poor data and ensure accuracy of data entry
  • Ensure best value fares / rates are offered and agreement reached in line with customer requirements.
  • To effectively resolve internal and external customer and supplier queries, escalating where appropriate.

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

  • Computer literacy required, preferably with Microsoft Office experience – enabling basic data entry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a Customer Service environment.
  • A sound geographical knowledge.
  • Experience of working in the Agency, Hotel, Travel and or Events industry.
  • Language skills.
  • Experience of working to agreed targets.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
