Prototyping & Venture Building is a lean multidisciplinary team part of the Open Innovation unit.  Prototyping & Venture Building´s mission is to identify and validate business models to drive new revenue streams for Telefonica Group with the agility of an startup and the power of a corporation. We work using rapid prototyping cycles and the process "identify problem-> design solution-> test-> learn" is our mantra. Following this way of working, we deliver initiaves to:
* Build a startups and we help them grow. We stick to the "open" nature of the name of our unit here, we never play alone: business opportunity identification and validation, talent acquisition process to identify the right founders and the investment for the succesful initiatives to become  start ups are delivered together with partners and the founders themselves.
* Support  Wayra startups in the portfolio to grow and accelerate their product market fit and evolution with the 360º expertise of the team (product, research, UX/UI, engineering, business development).

Mission 
The candidate will join the Venture Building area as Concept Builder in the Venture Building area with  the mission of looking after growing our startup portfolio with high impact initiatives. 

Main duties  & Responsabilities 
•    Coordinate the activities oriented to identify market needs both internally and in collaboration with 3rd parties (universities, venture builders, partners).
•    Deliver a market analysis for each initiative to identify high impact opportunities. 
•    Collaborate with the other disciplines in Prototyping & Venture Building to define, test and iterate a business model for each initiative. 
•    Define the minimum team required and their profiles for the startup to start operating.
•    Collaborate in prospection of talent to be part of the startup initial team. 
•    Deliver the business plan for each candidate start up.
•    Prepare the start up pitch deck.
•    Collaborate with the legal team to deliver the documents required to set up the start up.
•    Define, analyse, and report the KPIs intended to measure the success of the start up building process and iterate accordingly.
•    Suppport the startup along the way in activities related to pivote the business model, adjust the business plan, etc.  
•    Collaborate in the continuous improvement of Prototyping & Venture Building way of working.
 

Education required

Bachelor/ Master/ PhD degree in STEM or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).

MBA a plus.
