Job summary
Amazon Games is seeking a community manager to act as global lead for a game we actually can’t tell you much about (yet). As global community lead you’ll do your game-adjacent research, set robust goals, align with marketing teams, ladder up campaigns into product vision, engage with players, creators and dev teams, and build a thriving, healthy community from the ground up.

We’re working with Glowmade, a studio bursting with top talent based in Guildford, UK with big hearts and big ideas. Together, we’re working on a new IP we’re excited to bring to life. Right now, the Glowmade dev team is busy building a fun-filled cross-platform game with an ambitious creative wrapper around it. Intrigued? Fancy a challenge?

What we need:

* Proven experience leading global community strategy
* Data-driven decision-making resulting in measurable impact
* Channel strategy expertise: you know your TikToks from your Tweets and your Reels from your Reddits
* Knows how to drive narratives and tell stories that speak to players
* Champions diversity, creates safe spaces for players, seeks different perspectives
* Game and industry knowledge you use to inform tactics, tasks and team decisions
* Self-motivated to jump right in, navigate ambiguity, and get things done

This position will be based in the UK and will report to the Head of Community, EMEA

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* Excellent communication skills
* Extensive experience in games community management
* Experience managing agencies
* Passion for games and the player experience
* Ability to travel internationally
* Experience working with different time zones, languages, cultures
* Native English speaker

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Live event management
* Cross-platform experience
* Experience working on Games as a Service (GaaS)
* Degree-level qualification in either video games, marketing, or business
