You will be joining the regional Marketing, Communications and Public Affairs team. Our department is at the center of showing Vestas' stakeholders worldwide the difference we make and the direction in which we are heading. The Regional team is responsible for the development and execution of the Marketing and Communication strategy, including customer events, positioning of the brand and product marketing.

During the internship, you can expect to develop your ability to tell stories, improve your interview technique and your aptitude for creating compelling content for a wide range of channels, all within the context of a global organization. You can also expect to be welcomed into an international environment, where you can gain unique insights into one of the world's well-known companies in renewable energy solutions. You will get practical writing experience and can expect to work on your own with specific tasks. Finally, you'll have the opportunity to actively contribute to advancing the renewable energy agenda, and to affecting Vestas' progress in the journey towards a decarbonized global energy system

Responsibilities

As an intern at Vestas, you will work with colleagues from several departments on strategically significant areas, where your tasks will include:

• Developing content for our internal and external communication channels - such as press releases, articles, presentations, Social media posts, videos and blogs

• Preparing relevant communications materials such as presentations, infographics and guidelines for selected topics from across Vestas

• Conducting research for the preparation of content, including interviews with Vestas' specialists

• Support key communication campaigns, events, and activities as needed

• Contribute with internal stakeholders and global counterpart and external agencies for cross-team collaboration

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is motivated to work with communication in a global organization. As our corporate language is English and our regional languages are Spanish and Portuguese, we therefore expect an intern who writes and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently. A solid interest in sustainable energy solutions and the global energy system is also a benefit.

• Good academic experience

• Graduate student in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations

• Have experience through relevant previous internships activities

• Have good and creative writing as well as professional written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese

• Advanced skills with in video and graphic editing software (Photoshop and Illustrator)

• Ability to create visually appealing, multimedia content

• Knowledge of medias social network management (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn)
