Apple Retail Engagement Marketing is looking for an experienced Communications Strategists for our rapidly evolving Internal Communications Strategy team, to focus on executive communication and events. We have a captive audience of 70,000 hardworking and dedicated team members who bring the best of Apple to our customers around the world. We need your expertise and experience to help us dream the next generation of events, meetings, and leadership communications to inspire and motivate our Store and Retail Customer Care leaders and team members. You will join us at a time when we are crafting the future of internal communications for Apple Retail. Our team is inspired by our mission to build integrated and cohesive engagement strategies, and our work is becoming more intuitive, responsive, and relevant to the needs of the business and aligned with how our audience consumes and experiences content. The primary responsibility of the Communication Strategist is to lead strategy for our physical and virtual meetings and events, and the integrated messaging of our most senior executive leaders, working alongside Writers, Designers, Producers, Business Partners and our GEO teams to create amazing content and experiences worthy of the best of Apple.Together you will design meaningful experiences and define which platform is right for each audience and message. You are the person who owns the brief and narrative for what we are trying to achieve.You bring a strong strategic point of view and a sincere willingness to work together on landing what is the right thing to do for our audience. You will help ensure our worldwide communications are cohesive, relevant to our audience, and well-timed.You will also work across the Retail organization to understand key strategic priorities and determine how those priorities can come to life through finely crafted messages delivered via video, a global call, a virtual experience, physical gathering, or a hybrid model that blends the best of all. Your work has the potential to kick off a cascade of inspiration and information through our store and RCC centers around the world.You are a fierce advocate for our audience and will partner closely with our Managing Editor to deeply understand our audience’s capacity for content on any given day. As a member of the Communications team, you will help influence our annual and quarterly approach to business priorities, audience needs, and future vision. Partnering with our Creative team, you will help identify needs for new approaches that help us meet our experience goals.
Bring best-in-class communication skills to focus on leadership communications and events.Possess a strong editorial point of view and narrative ability for executive videos, events, and meetings. Align with the global Corporate Events team in on approaches and plan for large scale experiences.Align with the Corporate Communications team on executive messaging and pan-Apple approach. Design integrated communication and engagement plans by assessing team member and business needs, defining goals, asking the right questions, framing the problems to solve and engaging partners and creative teams towards a final vision.Be the communication lead in negotiating with partners and business experts.Lead the way and drive for results through dynamic change where roles and the work are actively evolving or ambiguous.Be able to explain the value of digital media, editorial programming, and communication techniques to non-creative audiences, both in person and in writing.Be able to define what success looks like by developing important metrics and being able to describe outcomes in clear and sensible ways people can understand and come back to.
