To support this vision, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) is looking for an internal communications specialist to support our Asia Pacific (APAC), Middle East/North Africa (MENA), and Latin America (LATAM) operations. This role will sit within the People, Insights, and Innovation (Pi3) team with a dotted line to the Workplace Health and Safety Communications team and lead the development and implementation of safety communications strategies and platforms that enable the company to effectively engage our safety professionals, operations employees, and delivery partners.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as single threaded leader for APAC/MENA/LATAM WHS health and safety communications strategy development and implementation
• Lead WHS content creation specific to APAC/MENA/LATAM, developing and implementing materials aligned with our global communication strategy and plans
• Publish recurring communications to operations through partnerships with other internal communications teams
• Support the APAC/MENA/LATAM WHS leadership team for WHS to WHS communications needs
• Establish a regular cadence of relevant, easily accessible content through various communication channels
• Create and establish frameworks for communication goals, invent and simplify processes and implement automation of processes
• Measure, report and adjust communication activities based on outcomes based on internal and external measures and delivering continuous improvement
• Bring big ideas to the table, obtain buy-in, and implement ideas at scale
• Work with the WHS Communications team members on collaborative projects for the central WHS team
• Work across a wide range of internal teams to gain alignment on implementation and tactical execution of team initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field and 5+ years of related experience in a medium to large size Corporation and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience
• Exceptional writing, communication, storytelling, and project management skills
• Experience in developing communications plans and strategies to deliver on business objectives
• Experience communicating to frontline teams as well as leadership
• Ability to manage deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in managing events like leadership conferences, town halls, and webcasts
• Experience working with agencies, graphic designers and other creative support
• Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
• Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders
• Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
