Disney General Entertainment is responsible for supplying programming to all of The Walt Disney Company’s distribution platforms through its creative brands ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Disney Branded Television, Freeform, FX, Hulu Originals, Onyx Collective and National Geographic, and television studios 20th Television and ABC Signature. These units create, produce and market iconic and critically acclaimed programming that feeds the company’s streaming platforms Disney+, Hulu and Star, and its cable and broadcast networks. During the 2020-2021 season, the group produced the No. 1 scripted series across 14 different streamers and networks, and garnered a combined total of 205 Emmy Award nominations across daytime, primetime and news segments.

The Human Resources Communications Manager for Disney General Entertainment Content will work closely with teams across the corporate communications function, partnering with the human resources and learning and development teams. They will be responsible for developing communications strategies and crafting communications materials to support employee programs. The successful candidate will have experience with communications and marketing strategies to launch and sustain specific programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is well-versed in the human resources function and can elevate the narrative around building a culture that supports belonging and long-term career opportunities.
The General Entertainment Content group creates original entertainment and news content for the Company’s streaming platforms and its cable and broadcast networks.
