The STRIDE is a global, multi-year capacity strengthening project that started in 2020 with the aim of ensuring the organisation continues to remain relevant, partner of choice in a changing humanitarian landscape. The role will also involve providing editorial and general communications support to colleagues involved in the STRIDE project across Islamic Relief’s Field offices and local actors.
The successful candidate must have or be:• Demonstrated experience of producing regular multi-channel editorial and communications content to a high standard, particularly for websites and external publications, for different audiences.• Evidence of success in creating compelling communications content and messages.• Experience in using content management systems to update websites.• Experience of working successfully as part of a communications team in a large diverse organisation.• Experience of working to a house style guide and following sign-off procedures.• Project management experience, with proven ability to manage multiple projects on tight and changeable schedules.• Experience of managing stakeholder relationships• Experience of working in collaborations with others• Experience of using relevant software and tools such as wordPress, Photoshop and social media channels.
