Job Description

We are currently seeking a Communications Business Partner to partner with Leaders across multi-industries (Energy & Utilities, Retail & Consumer Goods, Transport & Government) providing communications counsel, planning and delivery.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building a detailed understanding of the businesses key priorities and audiences in order to provide communications counsel
  • Developing and delivering communication plans and content that support the delivery of business priorities 
  • Delivering key events such as conferences and townhalls
  • Supporting the embedding of the Employee Value Proposition
  • Tailoring and delivering Group and Divisional communications and campaigns into respective areas
  • Leading communications for local change programmes, working closely with the Communications Transformation Lead in CA Experience
  • Providing external communications support working with client teams, PR and Public Affairs 
  • Sharing and adopting best practice communications with wider BP team as part of continuous improvement 
  • Supporting the roll-out and adoption of Office 365 channels for respective areas
  • Attending and being a proactive member of relevant leadership meetings
  • Supporting the Lead Communications Business Partner with key projects and campaigns as needed

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Communications Business Partnering experience 
  • Experience in delivering employee engagement campaigns 
  • Experience in delivering communications plans and content to support business objectives
  • Strong understanding of communications channels and tools
  • Experience gained in multiple industries, but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships

This is a home based role with some travel to sites as needed.
