This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created team in Mars Wrigley leading the Commercial Transformation. We are focused on unlocking the full potential of our associates and getting under the skin of how to make them more effective with tools, data and processes. This role will lead the communications work for this transformation as we build capability analytically; transform how we work within the function and cross functionally and e-enable the function to drive a performance-based culture.  This role will be a driving force for this transformation in partnership with Global VP Centre of Excellence and Transformation and entire MWCLT.

What are we looking for?

• This role will interface with senior levels of the organization. This role will leverage the MW leadership and key stakeholders In the regions.

  Additional context of the role is as follows:

• Role will require a high degree of collaboration with stakeholders in Commercial and other functions

• Partnership with different teams in MGS Commercial (Regions and MCS) and MW

• Any Mars site, with up to 15% regional travel

• Bachelor’s degree ideally with an outstanding record of academic achievement; advanced degree is highly preferred
• 5+ years of experience leading communications
• Proven record of work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
• Expertise in driving rapid and successful operational turnarounds and/or rapid growth programs, across key strategic, revenue, cost and working capital levers
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
• Possesses strong listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Serve as the lead for communication for the commercial transformation

• Design, develop and implement comms plans and strategies

• Working with the change lead and the workstream leads across Commercial conduct organizational assessments and needs assessments, develop recommendations, and implement solutions that drive improved employee engagement and connectivity
• Develop stakeholder plans to support upcoming changes and effectiveness.
• Play a lead role in the design thinking work, shaping this and playing back to associates to ensure the heart of the transformation really is focused on the right priorities to unlock full potential
• Works with process teams to ensure that new design elements are being appropriately communicated to the organization and effectively incorporated into end user training content
• Spearhead initiatives to develop employees’ understanding and acceptance of impacts on specific job roles, policies, technology impacts and business practice
