We are looking to bolster our talent by bringing in an experienced Commercial field Lead to join our Property & Speciality Claims department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is looking to join and manage a forward-thinking team with a real desire to succeed.

The ideal person will have a successful track record of leadership & strategic thinking with an ability to improve performance for the business, customers and colleagues.  Taking ownership, driving the strategy, shaping the performance culture and delivering change through the teams will be key deliverables.

This role is mostly home based; however, you would be required to travel for some meetings.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all operational matters relating to individuals and CPC Team. Control WIP level, allocation of work and assist with capacity planning.

• Capability - Enable team progression through Capability matrix & Qualifications.

• Support & deliver profitable growth in 2021/22

• Support management of Network & Supplier performance

• Resolve, monitor and reduce complaints

• Provide foresight on Commercial claims trends

• Ensure supply chain deliver Menu of Services that enhances performance

• Awareness of wider business strategy and initiatives

Skills & Experience required

• Strong communication and Numerical skills

• Ability to think on feet and deliver on tasks efficiently

• Proven management background

• Experience in Strategic thinking and business performance

• Leadership skills

• Good knowledge of the insurance industry related to commercial property (Preferred)

• Management Qualifications (Preferred)

• Accreditation to CII, RICS, CIOB, CILA, BDMA, (required)
