Frasers Group are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager – Clothing to manage the onboarding of leading trend-lead Clothing brands to our portfolio across our fascia’s, ensuring we remain an authority on Clothing.
Frasers have announced an elevated new store concept which was rolled out in 2020, this will offer a vast range of luxury, fashion and lifestyle across Frasers which includes our
- Proactively manage the relationships with suppliers through building trust, recognising when problems arise and solve them collectively with suppliers. Managing project/relationships of circa £10m
- Challenging processes and modes to ensure they are delivering best commercial outcomes for Frasers.
- Be data led and system driven to make effective decisions to ensure best commercial value for Frasers Group
- Onboarding of new Clothing Brands to the Frasers Group portfolio
- Actively seeking new and emerging brands that would enhance our proposition
- Attends trade shows, sourcing the best on trend for Clothing
- Has knowledge of cost breakdown, country of origin and lead-times of product, with knowledge of product development and Clothing specific terminology.
- Considers best sellers, price structure and missed opportunities in conjunction with new trend and product direction.
- Considers current sales and reacts accordingly, highlighting emerging opportunities within categories, pricing and existing or new brands, interprets data and reacts accordingly by reviewing and updating commitment.
- Is aware of our position within the market place in terms of product, pricing structure, marketing and acting on this information where necessary.
- Frequently reviews the range with the Buying Director to ensure product selection is commercial, reacting to sales – repeating and cancelling styles as required.
- Displays knowledge of high street, competition and historical sales information and uses this to influence the range.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience operating at a Commercial Manager level or higher within Clothing
- Has strong existing relationships with on-trend Clothing brands
- Experience and strong knowledge in end to end instore and online execution
- Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of brand performance, sales and profit drivers.
- Understands the impact of return rates from brands on bottom line profit.
- Proven experience working in the Clothing buying department for an ecommerce/retail Clothing retailer, with a proven background in managing categories independently and delivering to critical path deadlines.
- Clear understanding of trade reports, with ability to independently analyse sales and make relevant product recommendations to maximize sales opportunities.
- Strong sense of initiative, with ability to independently prioritize individual tasks and deadlines.
- A passion for Clothing & Cosmetics, Fragrance and Skincare.
