What’s the role about?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lead role within the John Lewis Financial Services, Savings and Investments team. 

As one of our Commercial Leads you will manage our newly launched Savings & Investments product. It is a strategic and forward-thinking role as you will need to plan and understand the Savings & Investments market and how customers will engage with the product. Developing your team of Partners capability will also be a key part of this role.

Proven experience within Savings and Investments is beneficial.

What will you be doing?

You will manage all aspects of our Savings & Investments product which will include the customer proposition, P&L, and managing the 3rd party vendor relationship which supports the digital capabilities of the product. You will ensure a successful launch of new products, developing the testing and learning to drive growth.  In addition, you will shape the strategic direction for Savings & Investments Products which will set a clear path for your team. On a daily basis you will need to keep abreast of key metrics such as customer engagement, competitors, economic environment, and take up and adapt plans quickly when needed. As this is a newly launched product for our business, being able to influence and communicate with a variety of stakeholders is important. 

What you'll have

  • Financial Services experience, including Savings & Investments

  • Exceptional stakeholder management

  • Strong commercial management experience

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills

  • P&L management

  • Leadership of complex matrix delivery teams (internal and 3rd party)

  • Relationship management (external and internal)

  • Digital channel development.
