Role purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Business and Commercial Operations, this is an important role in supporting sales effectiveness and profitability within Market Development. Market Development sits within Virgin Media O2 Business and is the team responsible for driving growth to the organisation by establishing new and digital-first revenue streams from high-growth markets like 5G, IoT, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Our world is rapidly evolving from an industrial economy to a knowledge economy, and for us, that means that we need to support our business customers to adopt new technologies and absorb digital transformation to thrive and create value for society. The purpose of the Pricing and Deals Financials Lead role is to provide commercial finance support to the Products and Sales teams for deals-specific requirements, more specifically around deals financials and specific deal pricing. The role will also oversee all pricing reviews across teams and ensure there is effective governance in place to support deals management. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial and commercial control for customer proposals ensuring the optimum trade-off between win rate and business returns and for delivering excellent finance input and leadership into bid proposals, products and solutions.
