About the Mercury Marine Opportunity

The Quality Engineer joins a community of talent that is #1 in
its industry at Mercury Marine. Located in Fond du Lac, WI, this role works
with the Assembly Quality group.

The Quality Engineer role
is a unique opportunity for you to

As a Quality Engineer you will work collaboratively and
independently with highly qualified manufacturing, quality, engineering
professionals who are responsible for the design, testing, and manufacture of
outboard and sterndrive motors for the recreational and commercial boating
industry.

As the Quality
Engineer at Mercury Marine, you will

• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with manufacturing supervisors, hourly employees, engineers, technicians, and managers
• Test, analyze, and report results on our internal and external quality concerns
• Interface with customers to identify root cause and implement corrective actions to improve process and quality control
• Evaluate product issues identified by our Customers
• Collaborate on resolution of process and product issues
• Collect and analyze data form manufacturing and warranty
• Mitigate risk through proactive analysis on manufacturing processes and systems

What are we looking
for in you?

• A student with at least 60 credits working towards a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or other related engineering fields
• Strong math background with experience in basic statistics (F and T tests, Distribution Analyst, etc)

• Tech savvy; proficiency using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel and Word) is necessary
• Strong decision making, organizational and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles
