The primary role of the Product Management Co-op is to provide administrative support to the product management team. The co-op will,
at the same time, gain real world experience and education in the field of marketing, in a business-to-business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
This position has a direct impact on the initiatives of each product manager in achieving their individual AOP (Annual Operating Plan)
sales and margin goals. This position has an indirect impact on Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket achieving, and exceeding, product
sales goals.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Performing market and sales analysis, using available Microsoft software tools
- Perform information queries using the AS/400 and/or MfgPro systems
- Gather and collate competitive product information
- Assist in formatting bulletins and other collateral materials, as required
- Assist in keeping the CVA Marketing web site updated and current
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate
- Must be a full-time college student working toward a degree, preferably in Marketing
- Co-op experience must be part of the student curriculum
