Our Wissota Tool location located in Wisconsin is currently looking for two CNC Machinist.

Wissota currently operates under three different shifts; however, these positions are for the 2nd or 3rd shift. 2nd shift schedule is Monday to Friday 3 PM to 11 PM. 3rd shift schedule is Sundays 7 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Wednesday 11 PM to 7 AM. This schedule covers 36 hours; however, employee will be paid for full 40 hours. 

We offer competitive pay which ranges between $54,000 - $68,000, including shift differential. Pay will be determined on experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Lathe, Rotary, OD Grinder and Ring Grinding Machine.
• Choose, align, and securely attach holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and other materials on machines.
• Apply knowledge of mathematics and instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
• Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
• Perform equipment maintenance such as starts or restarts of equipment after power outages or interruptions.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of Machine Tool Technics program or related machine shop experience preferred.
• Must have completed a Blueprint training course.
• Required to purchase tools after six months.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to operate and repair machines.
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at times.
