Job Responsibilities:

• Set Up and operate Lathe, Rotary, OD Grinder and Ring Grinding Machine.
• Choose, align, and securely attach holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and other materials on machines.
• Apply knowledge of mathematics and instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Operate ring inspections, deburr all parts and perform troubleshooting.
• Complete in-process inspections of parts by identifying malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors.
• Inspect and measure completed production units to identify defects caused by machine setup.
• Perform equipment maintenance such as starts or restarts of equipment after power outages or interruptions.
• Maintain a safe and orderly production area with the ability to meet production standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Two Years of Machine Tool Technics program or related machine shop experience preferred.
• Required to purchase tools after six months.
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
