Job Summary

Working as a member of the Information Technology team, the CMMS Configuration Lead is primarily responsible for the successful configuration and delivery of our CMMS solutions.  The role will partner with business and technical teams to ensure the CMMS solutions are effective, efficient, and fit for purpose. The Configuration Lead will assist in the maintenance of existing applications and configuring new CMMS features. This includes, but is not limited to deploying new system releases, configuring new features, defect resolution, process documentation and other key CMMS functions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs to ensure the system is configured correctly for all field users
• Convert requirements to user stories or functional specification documents
• Evaluate release functionality to determine if new features should be enabled to drive efficiencies to the business
• Participate and/or lead the deployment of new CMMS versions
• Lead defect resolution and RCA efforts with the vendor and the Information Technology team
• Ensure we have complete and current process documentation for all CMMS solutions
• Monitor data flows to and from internal systems to ensure all data is current and accurate
• Provide the required CMMS application documentation to Internal Audit
• Serve as the CMMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new IT work requests / projects
• Collaborate with internal audit and vendors to ensure proper change control processes are being followed and provide required documentation upon request

Minimum Requirements

Education, Required Skills & Competencies

• Relevant business/technical degree (Information Technology Preferred)
• 7+ years of work experience
• 3+ years or more of hands-on experience with CMMS applications
• Strong expertise and deep understanding of configuring CMMS applications (Astea and/or Corrigo application experience is preferred)
• Solid business acumen regarding CMMS applications and defect
• Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable)
• Strong understanding of data/integration both inbound as well as outbound with source systems (ERP - Oracle, P2P, etc.)
• Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized, and excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent analytical and financial acumen
• Ability to effectively influence key stakeholders and motivate a team, both in-person and remotely
• Good presentation skills to achieve business acceptance of CMMS practices and procedures
