Fidelity has new opportunities for remote Cloud Security Engineers. While these positions are remote, you are required to live in the Charlotte, NC area. You’ll have full access to virtual training and learning opportunities, plus dynamic working resources to help you stay connected.
The Roles
The Cloud Security Engineering Chapter within Enterprise Cloud Computing (ECC) is seeking highly technical engineers for multiple open roles. As members of the Security Chapter, these engineers will join agile delivery squads working on complex problems including container security, image management, secrets modernization and cloud provider security. All at-scale, in a large multi-cloud environment.
Container Security & Image Management
Container runtime security and Cloud-Native Application Protection (CNAP)
Container rehydration monitoring and vulnerability management
Coordinate with Application Security teams to drive security tooling into the pipelines
Security of the container runtime platforms and API gateway services
Packaging and distribution of secure builds for virtual machines and base-containers
Build and maintain automation that supports reliable, pipeline driven infrastructure changes
Secrets Modernization
Build cloud-native application patterns with compliant secrets management practices
Help teams migrate from on-prem vaulting applications to cloud-native services
Evangelize modern secrets management practices to internal business units
Help solve the “Secret Zero†problem
Cloud Provider Security
Designing, scaling, and deploying various cloud security controls and services
Building processes and workflows along with a consolidated and collaborative integration of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS cloud services
Ensuring seamless user experience with advanced security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure
Maintaining and containing business risk as it pertains to the Cloud infrastructure
Working across ECC teams and Business Units to define requirements and deliver solutions
Building comprehensive security controls to enforce policy
Supporting business unit technologists deploying to the public cloud
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, compliance
A strong understanding of cloud service providers: AWS or Azure
A strong understanding of cloud container platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS / EKS)
Solid hands-on experience in production environments with at least one of the following:
Engineering/operational support of cloud account configuration in AWS or Azure
Engineering/operational support for workloads in cloud container platforms such as Kubernetes (AKS / EKS)
Hands-on configuration of CI/CD pipeline security tools for cloud-native deployments
Very strong with scripting languages, including integration with CSP APIs; python preferred
Experience building deployment pipelines; Jenkins preferred
Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code concepts and technologies
Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
Strong ability to work with YAML and JSON markup languages
A strong understanding of various cloud service delivery models including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS; automation; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling
Ability to work with application and security teams to promote a secure posture in the cloud
You can mentor and train other team members to work effectively in the cloud
You are a self-starter who can independently by reading technical documentation
