Asda Technology are building out an entirely new cloud platform to support its separation from Walmart as part of the Future' programme.

Future is the name for the programme that will see Asda create their new operating model, independent from Walmart. Asda are undertaking an unparalleled exercise to build a new IT operating environment. This is a fantastic opportunity which is a one in a lifetime opportunity shape the way the entire business will operate. Cloud technologies are at the very heart of this.

Cloud Product Manager role and responsibilities:

• The Cloud platform roadmap, its prioritisation and fulfilling customer demand.
• To work within a greenfield cloud platform at significant scale, as part of the newly established Asda Cloud Platform team.
• To work closely within our cloud community of excellence.
• To determine the cloud capabilities required by the Asda business.
• To prioritise delivery and work with a team of Cloud Architects and Engineers to continuously improve cloud services.

Cloud Product Manager current skills and experience:

• Ability to engage technical stakeholders across the business to evangelise on the benefits of cloud.
• Experience of areas such as lifecycle management & technical roadmaps.
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Experienced working within Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies, developing and optimising processes.
• Great interpersonal and customer management skills, you will be able to understand stakeholder needs and improve the cloud platform to meet these
• Previous product management experience; backlog management, tech investment, resource requirements and product roadmap
• Excellent written skills, with an ability to create formal documents and processes to support the use of Asda's cloud platform
