Fidelity has new opportunities for remote Cloud Engineers. While these positions are remote, you are required to live in the Charlotte, NC area. You’ll have full access to virtual training and learning opportunities, plus dynamic working resources to help you stay connected.

The Role

As a Cloud Engineer you will work within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team committed to providing value to our customers through our technology solutions. Our squads blend deep technology & business expertise with a passion for exploring and implementing new emerging technologies. We are passionate about opensource contribution and participating in foundations like the CNCF and CDF while embracing a continuous learning mindset in an open and transparent culture.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Hands-on experience in 2 or more languages (Java, Python, Go, Lua, C++ etc.)

  • Extensive hands-on experience implementing automation & CI/CD pipelines.

  • Extensive experience working hands-on with AWS and/or Azure.

  • Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (CFT, Arm, Terraform etc).

  • Strong understanding of coding patterns and engineering best practices.

  • Experience in building microservices and strong knowledge in Kubernetes.

  • Experience designing and architecting cloud native applications.

  • Passionate for new technologies and cloud trends.

  • Passion for a devops and continuous learning culture.

Bonus Skills

  • Cloud certifications.

  • Experience working with API platforms or Service Mesh technologies.
