The Infrastructure Operations team is critical to Virtustream's development and provision of products and services for a changing world. We provide and maintain the infrastructure required to perform product engineering and support service provision to customers, utilizing modern tools and methodologies, custom cloud and cloud native technologies to automate the provisioning and lifecycle of tools, systems, and environments. Key Responsibilities 
•    Collaborate with our fully remote team to develop, test, document and support software, automation, and tooling for infrastructure as code.
•    Learns and improves existing processes, documentation, and testing, with security always in mind
•    Work with other global teams in Virtustream to promote, lead and support the use of best practices, and provide support for our team's services
•    Develop software and use tools like Ansible, Stackstorm and others.
•    Work with API driven cloud platforms, including Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Amazon Web Services, and object storage
•    Use and support CICD tooling such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Github.
•    Provide excellent communication and documentation skills, work comfortable in a remote position, self-driven, ability to work with globally distributed remote teams and at odd hours when necessary

Essential Requirements 
•    Minimum of 8+ years professional experience in Software Development and Operations with a Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline or commensurate experience
•    Developing and testing experience in Python, Go or similar languages
•    Strong, recent API driven cloud infrastructure experience with GCP, Azure or AWS
•    Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
•    Experience with Linux environments (e.g. Redhat, SuSE, CentOS, Ubuntu)
•    Understanding of security considerations in software development, configuration management and all other aspects
•    Understanding of network and routing concepts

Desirable Requirements 
•    Use of orchestration tools such as Terraform, Stackstorm
•    Professional experience with containers, Kubernetes
•    Certifications with GCP, Azure, AWS
