Do you want to provide better access to Behavioral Health services in your community? Join the MinuteClinic team for an innovative, yet stable opportunity to provide behavioral health, as a Clinical Therapist.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide individuals and groups with the psychosocial support and education needed to address their identified mental wellbeing needs. Services include activation, assessment, diagnosis, advocacy, and delivery of counseling services in a clinic setting. In this role you must be able to collaborate with other MinuteClinic and CVS care team members as well as participating behavioral health provider groups to provide patient education and counseling, and make referrals for other services needed to support care. You may also provide care and case management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare and integration and collaboration with specialty and primary care providers as needed.

Required Qualifications
– Current and active and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed (clinical) Professional Counselor (LPC or LCPC), Family and Marriage Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
– Proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
CVS Health requires its Colleagues in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.

  • If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 30 days of your employment. For the two COVID-19 shot regimen, you will be required to provide proof of your second COVID-19 shot within the first 60 days of your employment. Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with CVS Health.
  • If you are unable to be fully vaccinated due to disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief, you will be required to apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 30 days of your employment in order to remain employed with CVS Health. As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated.

Preferred Qualifications
– Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and team skills
– Proven deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
– Demonstrated understanding of insurance, Medicaid, Medicare billing requirements
– Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills
– Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting

Education
– Completed Master’s degree program from an accredited College or University.
– Current and active and unencumbered State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed (clinical) Professional Counselor (LPC or LCPC), Family and Marriage Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
