Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Have deep understanding of the product features/capabilities, business process flows, user journeys, configuration options and integration capabilities
- Support the design and implementation of CT products for various clients by developing a thorough understanding of client's requirements and then applying domain best practices, in-depth product knowledge, available configuration options to implement those requirements
- Forms relationships with client engagement teams and SMEs to gather, understand, document, and analyze business requirements and facilitate the implementation of those using best practices, configuration options and out of the box capabilities available within the Product
- Works with product engineering teams to incorporate feedback from client implementations and continuously trying to enhance and improve core product
Your key responsibilities
- Leads meetings and facilitates workshops with business stakeholders, engagement teams and client teams to understand and gather business / functional requirements and translates these into complex technical requirements, building strong relationships with business stakeholders as well as the wider team
- Host client facing requirements workshops
- Performs detailed documentation of requirements, functional gap analysis compared to product capabilities and help Implementation scope definition and effort estimation efforts.
- Configure, build, and test application based on functional requirements
- Maintains an understanding of scope, assumptions, risks, and dependencies associated with the business and technical requirements, identifies any blockers and flags as appropriate, and assists with scope management activities including the identification and impact assessment of change
- Leads the design and review of test cases to ensure tests adequately meet the requirements
- Reviews insights on whether solutions and technologies being implemented are meeting business requirements and provides recommendations on how to improve current processes
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience in implementing packaged enterprise software for clients and associated service delivery methodologies
- Expert experience gathering and interpreting business requirements
- Expert experience developing technical requirements and specifications, including knowledge of software engineering methodologies, reporting tools, modelling and testing
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, IT , Statistics, Mathematics, or related field preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in consulting services with proven ability to creatively assist client with their business challenges
- Have domain knowledge of one or more industries or sectors, with broad knowledge of current as well as emerging technologies
- Have experience in Agile framework participating directly in Agile practices and producing common artifacts
- Understand packaged enterprise software implementation and delivery framework
- Strong relevant experience in either an internal or external business analysis role, or similar, evidenced by adding significant business value through research, challenging the status quo where appropriate, contributing material improvement ideas and developing/presenting full business cases
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in delivering technical solutions, providing comprehensive technical advice, and understanding user requirements
- Proven stakeholder management experience
Ideally, you'll also have
- Have a sense of urgency, decisiveness, ability to work well under pressure
- Broad understanding of IT Services, including service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skill (written and verbal)
- Demonstrate ability to articulate ideas and present strategies at all organization levels
- Have previous team leadership role
