QRS are working on behalf Peterborough College and are seeking a Cleaner who can join the team on a part-time permanent basis.

Within this role, the successful candidate will manage a defined team of Cleaners to ensure that the college is ready for business operation. You will co-ordinate or carry out tasks such as ordering of stock, stock control, maintenance of equipment and some cleaning tasks.

Role responsibilities

Line manage a team of cleaners to include absence planning, monitoring, and reporting, undertaking professional development reviews, delivering training, and ensuring compliance.

Plan and rota cleaning tasks.

Undertake cleaning duties, keep all health and safety inspections and training up to date and ensure compliance.

To review health and safety implications of work tasks, comply with all relevant health and safety instructions, report issues to the Estates manager and carry out risk assessments as required.

The person and qualifications

Qualified to Level 2 in English and Maths.

Experience in a Supervisory role.
