Nature and Scope

This position will be set in China customer service and logistics optimization team as an optimization analyst, GIS specialist.

The role will be a member of a highly specialized staff who provide operational research and advanced analytical services that help enable CSL team make more effective decisions leading to excellent customer service and increased productivity.

This role needs to have skill of helping people solving system related issue, providing solutions to everyday conundrums, help manage a wide variety of technology issues, use data, and control the system using process to help productivity improvement and driving innovative solutions to deliver outstanding customer service is the role essence.

DIMENSIONS
 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. The candidate will serve as specialist and engineer to maintain existing QGIS build-in functions and be able to build new model based on business requirements
2. Experienced with data Extraction, Transform and Loading (ETL), will be in charge of maintaining current CSL data warehouse
3. The post holder will be responsible for serving as an individual contributor and may also play a role as a project lead on specific projects or problems of broad scope and complexity. 
4. Drive discipline of data quality for China customer service and logistics team, including data in Call Center platform, SAP system, and IT tools to be developed within CSL and supply chain team, this also need to cross work with sub-region distribution managers, drivers, schedulers, etc.
5. Maintain and integrate optimization and data analysis tools for Customer service and logistics team using and improve data visibility.
6. Passionate about Python, automation, and software quality control and have experience on open-source projects
7. Be the contact point with IT enablement team and Asia supply chain team for system improvement based on China CSL productivity operation perspective, SAP system will be focus.
8. Work closely with customer service supervisor, inside sales, customer engineering to build up the optimization tools for improving customer experience, define on-going process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Position requires a MS degree in GIS, CS, Industrial engineering, or related discipline
2. 2+ years working experience in logistics optimization and GIS secondary development
3. Strong programming skills with working knowledge of SQL, Python, and Python for QGIS or ArcGIS
4. Familiarity with QGIS suite of products and concepts of GIS
5. Excellent communication, analytical, facilitation, and networking skills
6. Ability to work independently and within a team to solve challenging problems
7. Basic project management and facilitation skills with the ability to influence, work effectively and implement solutions in a cross-functional, multi-regional team environment
