As a Chief Scientist/Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating and providing oversight of Product Line development efforts related to the domain of Resistivity, Dielectric and other electromagnetic measurements
Modeling and inversion of field propagation in anisotropic media
Design of transmitter and receiver antennae, associated electronics and signal processing code for geophysical measurements and communication
Adaption of inversion software to accommodate new sensor configurations
Testing and Verification of signal processing performance and electromagnetic inversion code
Development of QC measurements, sensor calibration routines, measurement error models, borehole corrections and tool performance specifications
Defining through theory a measurement concept, prototyping the concept in the lab, then refining and ruggedizing the prototype to function in a downhole environment

To be successful in this role you will have:
MSc, Diploma, or PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Geophysics, or other related science discipline
Programming skills (MATLAB, Python, C, Java, or other similar modeling and analysis software)
Experience with multi-physics simulation, including electro-magnetic measurement, inversion, and interpretation techniques
Expertise in analog and digital and signal processing
Ability to work independently, but also as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Key responsibilities / accountabilities
Preferred qualifications / requirements:
10 years of working experience, ideally within Oil and Gas or related industry
Knowledge of wireline, logging while drilling and measurement-while-drilling OFS field operations
Understanding of modern multi-modal well logging and interpretation techniques, with specific expertise in electromagnetics
Knowledge of Reservoir Navigation Service practices
Data science, AI and ML techniques
Expertise in analog electronics design for mixed-signal environments, covering a broad range of topologies and components including op-amps, discrete MOSFETs/IGBTs, power switching ICs, PWM controllers and passives
Experience with signal conditioning, integrity, and error modeling applied to the design of high precision analog and digital electronics
Knowledge of low noise design techniques including filters, grounding practices, Power System noise analysis
