Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to join Capita Infrastructure’s team based in Glasgow working across a varied range of regional and UK projects.

The postholder will join a long established multi-disciplinary team undertaking all aspects of professional surveying work.  You will be required to liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external) and carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead & develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the client and senior colleagues
  • Support business development activities in conjunction with senior colleagues
  • Carry out design and specification work and assist with preparing tender information
  • Administering building contracts
  • Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work (including Condition Surveys, Specific Defect Analysis, dilapidations, Technical Due Diligence, Access Audits, PPM surveys etc )
  • Liaise with Clients, Contractors & other consultants (internal and external)
  • Support our APC candidates

What we’re looking for:

  • BSc in Building Surveying or equivalent
  • MRICS  
  • Experience of advising on commercial, healthcare or education properties withier in the public or private sector
  • Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Ability to demonstrate flexible approach to work and willingness to travel/stay away from home for short periods as may be required.
