About the role
To support the development and delivery of a strong channels eco-system as well as content strategy within the Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team including activities supporting our company’s vision and values, growing our reputation, building a culture of community, inclusion, trust, and engagement.
Working closely with the Head of Channels and other stakeholders of the wider team, this role is to ensure the effective delivery and management of various internal & external social channels to drive awareness, engagement, and favourability through relevant, targeted content in most effective channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Representing as a lead within the Channels, Content & Events team and working alongside the wider Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team on various projects; this role requires planning and building strategic content plan as well as publishing on our corporate channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and our corporate microsite as well as internal channels such as Intranet & Workplace with the aim of growing reach, awareness and engagement.
- Maintain a holistic view of all the activity across our channels eco-system to ensure we are consistent and delivering an impact and contributing effectively to our editorial planner and overall team laydowns.
- Implementation of our channel’s strategy through effective, compelling, and engaging content ideas. Ensuring consistency and quality in all the output to support key business announcements, campaigns and alignment with overall objectives and our company goals.
- Being a trusted advisor to the team on channel and content relevance for different projects and targeted audiences to increase favourability and advocacy among both internal & external audiences.
- Develop end to end content plan to support any campaign, company announcement, with responsibility of drafting key messages in short and long form from company and from our leadership team targeted to different audiences through various internal & external channels with measurable goals, KPIs, and reporting accordingly.
- Working closely with our agencies to ensure we are developing meaningful and impactful content for our channels in an effective and efficient manner.
What We Need from You:
Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge, experience, and management of social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Workplace and WordPress.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied target audiences
- Preferably degree qualified within journalism, communications, public relations, or marketing is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of WordPress, SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Highly organised to manage the workload and adaptable to changing plans and needs
- Proactive, hands-on, able to drive relationships with stakeholders and possess strong influencing skills
- Preferable skill set of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Able to deliver plans including copy writing, video scripting, content creation.
