What's the role about?
The breadth and complexity of change across the business means that you are likely to be involved in work that ranges from organisational, process, system and behavioural change. Your role will be to mitigate the impacts of these changes, with Partner experience and business benefits at front of mind. As a change management practitioner, you will support the Partnership in the landing of change to ensure that the benefits of the change are successfully embedded with minimal disruption. Setting clear intent, direction and guardrails to achieve outcomes, you will empower and support teams to embed change.
With a strong understanding of our business needs, you will be accountable for developing and managing the change plan throughout the project, including managing resources, budgets, progress communications, risks and issues. You will demonstrate agility by being responsive in your planning, whilst designing and delivering tailored change interventions throughout the assignment.
What you'll be doing as Change Manager:
You will be assigned to priority outcomes and associated projects/programmes, working in a matrix environment with the wider Change Profession and affected parts of the business.
As a Change Manager, you may be required to undertake both a Change Management and Project Management role depending on the size and value of the project. You will role model excellent influencing and coaching skills, supporting leaders to become inspiring champions and advocates of change so that their teams embrace this with a positive and open mind set.
What you'll have:
Change management qualification, APMG or equivalent (desirable)
Knowledge and delivery experience of change management principles, methodologies and tools applied to one or more types of change: systems, processes, structures, behaviour/culture
Ability to lead change work streams within agile and/or waterfall projects
Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong stakeholder management skills, including influence and coaching
Flexible and adaptable; resilient and tenacious when working in ambiguous situations
Forward looking with a holistic approach
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
