Job Description
You will be working closely with the People Director, People Leadership Team , Directors, Senior Managers and a variety of stakeholders across the Trust including Construction, Operations, Museums & Attractions and Property.
Accountabilities include;
- Lead the People change agenda to maximise employee engagement, faster adoption of cultural and behavioural reform and ensuring adherence to governance.
- Manage progress from initiation to delivery in line with project methodologies using a range of tools and techniques for planning, monitoring and reporting against milestones to a wide audience at all levels of the Trust.
- Act as an internal consultant, working closely with the business to translate needs, strategy and policy into viable work packages and estimating time and cost of resource for delivery.
- Manage business readiness actions for all impacted stakeholders delivering exceptional communications on a variety of mediums and expert guidance as required.
- Initiate and manage collection of insight using a variety of networks to identify opportunities to contribute to the Trust.
- Responsible for anticipating issues and problems, and where necessary intervening to find solutions to prevent slippage or failure to meet key milestones.
- Lead and develop matrix managed teams including project resources and other People functional experts to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Required to consult directly with Trade Union representatives and other stakeholders to inform the design and delivery of the project.

- Ensuring that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of Trust life and promoting inclusion by challenging behaviour, practices, actions, or decisions that are counter to the objectives of the Trust’s policies and values

You are able to consider and understand the bigger picture. Your experience will mean that you are effective at identifying the priorities and complexities to ensure ambitious but realistic processes and timelines are developed for delivery. Your process approach and focus means that you keep everything moving in the same direction and can ‘fire fight’ the day to day issues and barriers that can arise.
Skills & experience
- Proven experience of delivering culture and business change into multi-site operational locations
- Evidence of applying a range of project methodologies. Identifying and scheduling tasks and dependencies tracking and reporting, creating and working within appropriate governance.
- Experience of managing resource and budgets.
- Evidence of managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Exceptional communicator and stakeholder manager.
- Capable of working in multiple teams at the same time.
- Able to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
- Forward looking with a holistic approach
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
