The Change Management Manager is an integral member of the People Strategies team.  She/he creates and executes sponsorship and internal stakeholder strategies to gain organizational alignment for one of Cox Automotive’s top initiatives.  The CM manager is also responsible for the creation and execution of resistance management plans to enable adoption, as well as the design and implementation for changes related to roles and responsibilities of team members across the organization.  Additionally, the CM manager will partner with the Business/Market Readiness Lead to align their strategies and responsibilities to ensure the adoption of program changes across the enterprise.  The CM Manager will have a proven track record of leadership engagement and execution that brings strategy, skill, and process expertise to deliver significant impact to the business.

 Key Responsibilities:

Sponsor and [Internal] Stakeholder Management

Engage key stakeholders to understand, clarify, and communicate project objectives, scope, and results.

Provide tools, processes, and consultative resources to organization leaders to accelerate execution and business benefits.

Works to enable leaders to support changes before, during, and after changes are rolled out.

Collaborate with Communication partner and project leaders to develop and execute communications plans for executive leaders, the steering committee, and organization leaders.

Serve as point of contact for sponsors and key stakeholders regarding changes.

Ensure sponsor is up-to-date and engaged in the program’s progress, as well as being part of the program’s engagement and resistance management plans

Assist with realizing people related outcomes in order to achieve business unit strategic goals

Resistance Management

Partner with Measurement/KPI analyst to understand the level of adoption

Create and execute resistance management plans

Partner with organization leaders to minimize resistance

Change Management CoE Design and Execution

Support the build-out and deployment of a centralized change management center of excellence focused on change strategy, change consulting/coaching and change execution

Leverage best practices and thought leadership to create a best-in-class internal change practice

Partner with internal People Strategies team members to identify cross-functional client support needs (Talent, Learning, Org Effectiveness, etc.)

Partner with Business/Market Readiness

Business/Market Readiness will own technology and process changes to the end-users.

Readiness and Change Management will partner to ensure both end-users and the organizations adopt the changes driven by the program.

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $72,828 – 102,000. Salary may vary outside of the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience.

Position is eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Qualifications:

BS/ BA degree in related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5 years of experience in automotive industry and/or logistics field.

Change Management Certification required.

Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems.

Track record of taking initiative in managing multiple priorities and to work effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.

Overall high-level of executive presence, including first rate verbal and written communication skills.

Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily with senior leaders

Ability to partner well with colleagues in a matrix work environment.

Ability to work independently and to undertake responsibilities with minimal guidance.

High degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills savvy.

Adapting approach Must be comfortable with ambiguity.

Must be adept at handling complexity of situations and businesses.

Provide Clarity: Ability to take complex change concepts and reframe them into actionable activities with/for clients.

Occasional exposure to weather conditions, and noise.
