This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created team leading the Procurement Transformation.
This role will lead change and engagement for the transformation of MW Commercial (procurement) as we drive a holistic review of the operating model, drive growth and increase productivity to become top tier.  The transformation is holistic in nature and will result in change and transformation in how we work with the verticals (CBU's) and functions.  Organizing around this and tying to our cultural values while leading with mindsets and behaviors will be the responsibility of this leader.  We need to build capability analytically; transform how we work within the function and cross functionally and e-enable the function to drive a performance-based culture.  This role will be a driving force for this transformation in partnership with Global VP Centre of Excellence and Transformation and entire MWCLT.

What are we looking for?

  • This role will interface with senior levels of the organization to assess current state, end state and develop readiness criteria to drive, this role will sit on the MW Commercial leadership team as well as the MW P&O leadership team.  This role will leverage the MW leadership and key stakeholders In the regions.

    Additional context of the role is as follows:

  • Role will require a high degree of collaboration with stakeholders in Commercial and other functions
  • Partnership with different teams in MGS Commercial (Regions and MCS) and MW
  • Can be based at any Mars site, with up to 15% regional travel
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Change or Human Performance Management or related field is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally with an outstanding record of academic achievement; advanced degree is highly preferred
  • Extensive experience leading restructuring or turnaround situations
  • Proven record of leadership and experience managing teams and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Expertise in driving rapid and successful operational turnarounds and/or rapid growth programs, across key strategic, revenue, cost and working capital levers
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, good listening skills with ability to effectively coach and mentor others; must be able to lead by Influence

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Serve as the lead for change and engagement for the enterprise in enabling Supply chain transformation resulting in growth and financial delivery for Mars Wrigley.  Design, develop and implement change management strategies and plans
  • Working across Commercial conduct organizational assessments and needs assessments, develop recommendations, and implement solutions that drive improved employee productivity and morale
  • Develop and drive organizational health assessments to identify current state and gap to future state.
  • Develop stakeholder plans to support business strategy that are integrated across organizational design, culture, behavior, and change management.
  • Perform/assess Stakeholder and change impact analysis identifying potential project impacts/risks
  • Complete overall change management assessment
  • Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and/or resistance; develop risk mitigation plan
  • Supervises execution of activities related to organizational change management and end user readiness
  • Leads and builds a global change network team to drive communication and education within a user community on progress, objectives, and requirements to drive evaluate and ensure organizational readiness
  • Works with process teams to ensure that new design elements are being appropriately communicated to the organization and effectively incorporated into end user training content
