Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Change and Implementation Lead, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
The HR Transformation C&I Consultant will be responsible for defining the overall C&I strategy for the Digital HR Programme. They will primarily support the Digital HR Programme Manager by leading the coordination of C&I activities across Digital HR Programme.
In this role, you will:
- Create and manage overall C&I strategy including stakeholder engagement plans, ownership of success criteria for change, assessing the impact of change, ensuring change ownership and business/HR readiness for implementation.
- Develop change solutions, designs or options that are focused on successful change embedding.
- Manage and present a holistic view across change impacts and interventions; readiness; active risk, assumption, issue and dependency (RAID) management; financial planning and tracking (including benefits tracking as appropriate); milestones identification and management; and senior stakeholder management (both within and external to the Group HR function).
- Provide support, guidance and direction across multiple work streams/BDUs that form the programme, ensuring alignment to scope, governance structures implemented, and to agreed timelines.
- Manage the interlock across the programmes work streams/BDUs to deliver the implementation approach and plan, including liaison with local as well as global teams to ensure local deployment plans align and consider any wider activities / dependencies outside of programme delivery that may impact plans.
- Support the Digital HR Programme Manager in representing the programme aims/objectives, status, risks/issues, and financial performance at wider governance forums and with senior stakeholders as required.
- Prepare and coordinate Digital HR governance and control. Ensure risks/issues/actions raised are agreed and resolved/completed.
- Work with Work stream/BDU leads and HR Points of Contact (POCs) to organise and gather inputs to inform updates, proposed actions and recommendations.
- Enforce the robust governance structures that are in place and adhering to the group business transformation framework (Change Framework), in order to facilitate effective programme delivery in line with financial, FTE and key milestone targets.
- Ensure audience change impact assessments and reactions are analysed and change interventions (such as development of change networks) are identified to manage those impacts and reactions across HSBC.
- Work with Group HR Comms Team to ensure communication plans for change initiatives are defined and aligned with the overall HR narrative.
- Work closely with solution delivery teams on change initiatives to ensure training needs analysis and training materials are appropriately designed.
- Work with the programme team and sponsor to ensure HR Transformation Change and Implementation is embedded with the programme.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Have knowledge of HR departments/core functions, and the execution of business change/restructuring.
- Have strong understanding of HSBC Group structures, values, behaviours, processes and objectives.
- Have good understanding of change management and implementation in the context of a HR/People transformation.
- Have knowledge of key change management and implementation risks and considerations.
- Have knowledge of the external environment – regulatory, political, competitors etc.
- Have proven experience in change management (managing people and organizational risks and changes that may occur as a result of implementing transformation projects/programmes).
- Have proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders.
- Have proven ability in working across multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural diverse work environments.
- Have proven ability in successfully managing and delivering complex global / regional change initiatives at scale.
- Have knowledge of the Global businesses and broad understanding of the role of HR in an organisation.
- Have proven experience in operating in a portfolio manager role across a multi-discipline portfolio.
- Have experience in design & change initiation is preferred, including understanding and proven experience of the application of design thinking methods (workshop design and facilitation, development of personas and experience journey mapping etc.).
- Have experience of developing and implementing ways of working to promote agile HR and associated design methods and tools.
