Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Be highly collaborative through engaging executive, divisional, area and regional leaderships to in delivering initiatives to assure a collaborative and consistent approach
- Be able to manage and influence core & extended teams, independently - with limited direction from Portfolio Manager and Project Sponsors
- Develop processes and tools as required to enable execution and provide the necessary steps to ensure the deployment of the project success.
- Develop budget, resource and operating plans for assigned projects
- Prepare project funding proposals with a maximized Return on Investment
- Provide on-going updates to key leaders in CFS and other support groups including the Project Steering Committee, CFS OCM, Program management team, and functional leadership as required
- Organize and monitor inter-connected projects
- Identify priorities\\schedules relative to each project and ensure deliverables are achieved
- Lead and support project team members.
- Escalate potential challenges or project risks to the PMO & Project Sponsors on a timely basis. Manages risk identification and mitigation strategies. Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved
- Meet regularly with the PMO and GPO teams to review and make critical decisions and ensure project content and deliverables are meeting program objectives
- Manage project costs: manage costs in line with project plan. Ensure actual costs reported correctly each month and provide cost updates for RLBE.
- Develop the project plan, milestones, deliverables and budget.
- Communicate the project methodology to stakeholders and team members
- Manage stakeholder interactions (Project Team, HR, Organizational Change Leads, Process Owners, Business stakeholders, Third Party Service Provider, IT etc.) to ensure project milestones achieved
- Manage project scope and provide clarification on the project expectations to ensure alignment with business case.
- Understand and support the identification of Technology solutions and engage with IT to ensure project success.
- Develops and manages risk assessments and contingency plans
- Creates and maintains tailored communication across the projects and ensure timely issues resolution and escalation plans. Ensuring a constant communication with all members of the Project team and stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate change management discipline for allocated projects working with CFS OCM
Portfolio Support
- Support the maintenance and evolution of the formal Governance process for the annual CFS Portfolio cycles which drives accountability and decision making and actively engages with CFS & BTS leadership to support the development of the Corporate Finance Services Roadmap, including:
- Coordinating monthly PMO process meetings, partnering with Project leads in ensuring that project objectives and business outcomes are met
- Gaining approval on the annual Portfolio Roadmap and project methodologies to deliver the portfolio, including having resource plans in place
- Creating and communicating a Monthly Governance Cycle on how each project is governed and reporting / meeting cadence
- Support CFS leadership with ongoing Executive Reporting and other initiatives as required as part of a maturing organization
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU WILL BRING:
REQUIRED
- Candidate must be an experienced finance professional having with 5 years
+ finance experience (ideally with experience in Finance related Project and Program Management ) - Bachelor degree or master degree in business or related field.
- Experienced in a Multinational environment
- PM qualified or working towards a qualification; Ideally Green belt certified.
- 2+ Years of experience leading cross functional team
- Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Global Finance Operations / Shared Service Operations experience & Good understanding of key business and finance processes (Master data management, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash) is essential
- Experience in Masterdata management & with working with Business Process Outsourcer (BPO) an advantage
- Good knowledge of ERP systems desirable
