The EU Startup Team is looking for a motivated Project Manager Startup to run their Central Ordering team. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters and quick learners who learn how to lead small to medium complex projects. This individual will be involved in leading a team and also coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders and customers to order items for all the sites throughout the EU to launch new warehouses with a goal of ensuring that all goods arrive on time, accurately and optimizing supply chains KPIs. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing at all levels of the organization.
Ideal candidates will have the understanding and flexibility to deliver projects against Amazons high standards and processes.
Specific Tasks to be completed;
• Manage the ordering workload of the Central Ordering Team to ensure that Purchase Orders can be completed accurately and in prioritize fashion against plan.
• Manages team escalations to supply chain teams to ensure accurate deliveries can be achieved.
• Manage all departmental KPIs including developing continuous improvement projects designed to improve YoY performance.
• Work with finance teams of the management of invoicing accuracy and resolution
• Hire and develop a strong team to manage the workflow productively including temporary staff and contractors to reduce the total cost of ordering.
• Provide reporting and communication feedback to the wider organisation on ordering success, progress and efficiencies.
• Collaborate with customers and supply chain teams to improve the accuracy of orders placed, demonstrating a frugal approach to long term cost efficiencies.
• Attending conference calls, managing updates and gaining feedback
· Bachelor’s degree in SMET areas, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
· Experience in Supply Chain or Procurement role
· High level experience with MRP/ERP
· Solid experience with Procurement systems like Ariba/Coupa/Oracle or SAP or similar
· Solid verbal and written communication skills in both native and English language at CEFR level C1
· Work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Ability to travel up to 50% within Europe
· Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project
· English language proficiency
· Master’s degree in Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
· Superior communication skills, English at CEFR level C2, including the proven ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to meet organizational capacity needs.
