Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • The Catering Group Leader will be the point of contact for events such as caterings, reservations, bookings, and other services.   

  • Participate in bookings, equipment, event menu productions and other such services

  • Assists in the billing out of catering requisitions

  • Assists in the coordinating logistics, setup/knockdown and on-site problem resolution

  • Complies with all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures. 

  • Inventory assessment and On-line ordering.

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Presents self in a highly professional manner 

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude 

  • Ability to pro-actively communicate with all coworkers, managers, vendors and customers.

  • Must have basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.)

  • Good attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work well under pressure. 

  • Good organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work well alone and in a team. 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

REQUIRED

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. 

  • 4+ years catering related experience.

  • Willingness to be open to learning and growing. 

  • Maturity of judgment and behavior

  • Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance. 

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime – occasional weekends.

  • Must comply with any dress code requirements.  

  • Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity. 

  • Lift 30+ lbs. Bend, twist, standing (3+ hrs)

  • This Catering Position will be primarily catering, but at times may be asked to help with other aspects of the food service business to become cross trained (cashiering, serving, barista)
