- Working in the team that leads the menu development for Greggs in the commercial team.
- Supporting the Category Planning Managers with collection, collation and provision of information, including weekly financial reports.
- Supporting Category Planning Scheduling.
- Carrying out all the necessary administration tasks to support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for Category, including product set up and delist.
- Supporting post implementation reviews of launches and trials.
- Developing and delivering planograms for Shops to implement and providing a link to forecast and replenishment on space management.
- Contributes to pricing and promotion documentation.
- Acting as first point of contact for general product related queries and re-directing as appropriate.
Skills
Essential:
- Confident personality and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to understand numerical reports and ability to use Excel confidently.
- An ability to understand and analyse complex data with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create PowerPoint presentations.
- Good Planning and Organisation skills with diary management.
- Results focused, energetic outlook with a desire to work in a frequently changing environment.
- Thinking and Problem-solving Skills
- An ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work cross-functionally as this role requires liaison with all departments and frequent multi team work
Desirable:
- Fresh food experience
- Food retail knowledge
- Category/Retail Support knowledge
- Merchandising knowledge
- Ability to deliver presentations to others.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365
- Driving Licence as some travel and overnight stays may be required
- Previous experience of Power BI or creating reports using other reporting systems
