Do you have a passion for striking the best deals, to create win-win short, medium and long term relationships with external suppliers, both locally and globally?

Your role will be a trusted partner for the business and to actively support the implementation of the company strategy on multiple dimensions, such as cost-saving, supply chain resilience, sustainability, risk mitigation and innovation.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide active leadership and influencing amongst internal partners, finance and suppliers to drive companywide cost initiatives in the distribution and logistics spend

• Develop strong supplier relationship management programs with clarity of objectives and outcomes

• Negotiate and maintain logistic contracts on warehousing, transportation and customs brokerage

• Build market insights to identify the trends and translate them into category strategies.

• Build and maintain a Global supplier base - incl. contracting, negotiations, strategic performance management, risk management and supplier performance.

• Support in driving global dashboard with key indicators and monthly dialogues providing comprehensive updates to key stakeholders

The primary function of this role is to establish strong category and supplier relationship management for Distribution / Logistics category spend overall. The role reports to the Director of Distribution & Logistics Procurement.

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience within Distribution / Logistics sourcing experience

• Global/Regional category management experience - understanding of transport and logistics business

• A clear understanding of procurement processes and distribution/logistics vendor landscape

• Ability to effectively communicate, steer and influence at all levels in the company

• Experience in negotiating complex agreements with industry leaders

• Experience with Supplier Relationship Management
