DUTIES:

To read and follow production schedule instructions. To set up and adjust the case erector, conveyors, auto casers or handcasers, case taper, case coder and palletizer to meet production requirements/specifications. To open, inspect and prepare cases and other packaging materials for production. To operate and adjust the case erector, conveyors, auto casers, case taper, case coder and palletizer to produce packaging units that meet or exceed requirements/specifications. To identify and supply required casing and packaging materials for start up, production, product change over and shut down. To stop production and report any serious deviation from product requirements/specifications. To move tear down and prepare equipment for clean up. To maintain a consistent and sufficient materials flow to the production line. To monitor and protect products from contamination. To monitor and protect finished goods temperatures. To monitor and instruct line workers in line operations. To maintain area housekeeping. Any other duties assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely. Meet the communication requirements to perform all duties. Must maintain a working knowledge for food handling and packaging. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for safe working practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for good manufacturing practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for manufacturing control points and practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for quality control points and practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for critical control points and practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for blood borne pathogens control and practices. Must maintain a comprehensive knowledge for allergen control and practices. Must work well with others as a production team. Must have reliable/consistent attendance and attention to duties. Must work accurately with minimal supervision.
