Job Responsibilities
Career Development Program (CDP) is the training and development program for young graduates by attempting the methods for growing future experts, managers and leaders. It will provide the opportunity to the talents to learn the company\'s business, products, technologies and operating methods in their early careers. 

• The CDP candidate will fulfill 3 x 8 months assignments in procurement team and interface with different Engineering disciplines and project execution team. Location for these assignments is at Air Products Asia Engineering, Zhangjiang, Shanghai.
• Every CDP candidate is assigned a senior manager as a mentor to guide and advise them as they progress through the program. 
• For each assignment, the specific learning, project-related objectives and job description will be discussed, agreed and commented at the beginning between CDP candidate and the assignment manager. The emphasis for each assignment will be on-the-job training. 
• The CDP candidate is encouraged to seek advice, coaching and support from their colleagues.
• Overall role of Procurement Specialist:
  • Assist to prepare the RFQ documents and send out inquiry under the guide of project procurement specialist or procurement manager.
  • Assist to obtain quotations from bidders and prepare the Commercial Bid Evaluation under the guide of project procurement specialist or procurement manager.
  • Assist to prepare Purchase Order (PO) or Contract Agreement and send to project procurement specialist or procurement manager for review and approval.
  • Work with expeditor for follow-up of contract Agreement or PO after PO or contract being released.
  • Track, record and coordinate payment.
  • Other work assigned by project procurement specialist or procurement manager. 

Requirements

• Recent postgraduate, with Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Automation and Control or Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent English skills, both written and oral; skillful in use of PC software tools.
• Clear, honest, flexible and hard working.
• Reliable, responsible with teamwork spirit.
