· Further embed sustainability into the organisation by developing analytical tools and assessment methodologies for comparing the carbon and environmental impact of different business cases to enable sustainable decision making.
· Build LCA models and conduct the comparative environmental impact of supply chain and operational decisions.
· Collect relevant data required for good quality modelling.
· Collaborate closely with your own team and internal partners at the LEGO Group as well as our external supply chain.
· Take a global approach by utilising external partners and the latest global standards to ensure quality assessments.
· Deliver tangible results to drive the sustainability agenda.
Environmental Responsibility (ER) is a globally based team of functional experts and leaders, seeking to build real impact both inside and outside the LEGO Group.
We are responsible for ensuring the LEGO Group fulfils its ‘Planet Promise’ by achieving the highest possible environmental performance through a commercial logic.
Demonstrating commercial advantage and driving innovation across the business, we address the entire value chain from the impact of raw materials through manufacture of products, distribution, use, and onto eventual reuse or recycling.
· Environmental professional within an international, large-scale corporate environment or with consultancy experience.
· Experience in sustainability with a focus on carbon footprinting analysis and life cycle assessments.
· Ability to see beyond the details and provide strategic direction on environmental footprint and business decisions.
· Understands relevant software, standards and how to utilize them as a tool in business decisions.
· Excellent ability to gather facts, manipulate large complex datasets, trouble-shoot and analyze information to draw insights and make objective recommendations.
· Proficiency in Excel.
· Strong interpersonal skills and proactive in building a stakeholder network.
· Strong team player with an eye for the greater common goal.
· Self-reliant and passionate about making a change.
· Resilient and able to deal with the challenges that change management brings.
· Able to work with colleagues from varying cultures and levels of seniority.
· Experience with financial business case creation.
· Preferably global experience.
