We are seeking a highly motivated Capital System Manager and Project Cost Control who will make a difference in the Oxnard Paper Making Site by leading the management and capability building in the capital, appropriated expense, and FADO (Fixed Assets Disposal Order) forecast work processes, capitalized overhead work process, and capital funding concurrence work process. In this role, you will manage the capability program including tracking and certification work process. You will be striving the overall stewardship and compliance of all capital systems for the Oxnard Plant. The role involves working closely with the Family Care Capital Management COP Director, Site Engineering Director, Area Capital Systems Managers, Business F&A Manager, and working across Family Care and engineering project teams on work processes, capability, and compliance.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead capital estimate work for feasibility and funding grade level
Use P&G Corporate Capital System tools and SAP to manage the monthly forecast for capital, appropriated expense and Fixed Assets Disposal Orders
Lead monthly forecasting reviews with area capital systems manager and respective area Directors
Work with the Family Care Capital Management Director on gap plan and action follow-up for forecast
Lead analysis and provide update on the cross-charge rate for projects
Use the Corporate Compliance Report and SAP to manage the monthly compliance for key capital system metrics
Lead action plan development where necessary for open compliance items
Use capability and certification tracking tool to determine the capability needs of the organization
Lead capability action plan for up-skilling and certification completion
Lead monthly (or quarterly) communication of the status of certification progression and provide recommendation of the action based on gaps
Lead the Oxnard Site Capital Key Element Assessment process (action planning, execution, and regular reviews)
Lead and own the Fixed Asset Management for the Oxnard Site
Lead capital project set-up and close-out in SAP (creation, release, edits and additions of the Work Breakdown Structure; management of the Use and Occupancy dates; balancing of orders prior to Purchase order closeout; Purchase order closure; capital and expenses cross charge processes for all legal entities and plant codes in SAP)
Lead asset creation and adjustment process
Lead FADO (Fixed Assets Disposal Order) and FATO (Fixed Assets Transfer Order) processes
Work with Technical Engineers on: generation or. alteration of purchase orders in the P&G systems and SAP; Trending for capital, expenses and Forecasting FADO and depreciation.
Lead the Oxnard Site Local Capital Budgets for Savings and non-savings
Support the Oxnard Site Engineering Director in the capital and engineering concurrence process for funding capital projects at the site
Build Capital, appropriated expense and FADO forecast work processes capability in the Engineering Organization
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Bachelor or Master's degree in: Business Management(or other related degree and/or work-related experience).
Skills/Experiences:
5+ Years of experience in Capital Systems Management, Project Cost Control, Capital and Expenses Forecast, Fixed Asset Management and SAP
Ability to lead and implement an improvement across a broad/diverse range of stakeholders;
Able to work effectively with autonomy and lead groups to drive improvements
Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate action plans, strategies, and help requests to the right people with the appropriate sense of urgency to drive action
Travel is expected to be 5-10% of the role
