Please review the following job description:

This role is responsible for overseeing processes within Capital Markets Operations. This role supports the Truist Securities Fixed Income Sales and Trading, and Truist Safekeeping lines of business.

Interacts with front office, operations teams, and institutional clients to complete tasks and resolve issues.

Thorough understanding of capital markets business and fixed income securities.

Ensures procedures and controls are being followed and maintained.

Focuses on all aspects of the processing cycle as opposed to only understanding specific steps or tasks; products and services are relatively complex and problem solving occurs on a frequent basis.

Oversees processing and settlement of a large number of transactions with significant dollar value while maintaining solid foundation of Operational Risk Management.

Works with external vendors to implement and oversee technological solutions.

The ideal candidate will have ability to work in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work on multiple items at a time.

Excellent communications skills, as this position interacts with all levels of internal and external clients.

Attention to detail, time management and problem solving skills are essential. 

Strong proficiency in Excel, knowledge of VBA.

Bachelor\'s Degree.

Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge of operational processing environment.

Past work performance with increasing levels of responsibility.

3-5 years experience in bank or brokerage operations preferred.
