Job Description

he Campaign Planning & Scheduling manager will be responsible for planning and scheduling effectiveness of Marketing campaigns.

They will support the optimisation of campaign channels, address and assess key areas of campaign readiness. They will lead the day to day management and support of trafficking and resource management to ensure effective delivery of campaigns.

Utilising all available audience data, the Campaign Planning & Scheduling Manager will execute the detailed planning of agreed integrated marketing campaigns, designed and managed by the Capita Campaigns & Operations team.

They will be responsible for setting the specific timings of in-market campaign activity, minimising overlaps of multiple messages to the same target audiences, against resource and trafficking restrictions. They will co-ordinate and track activity, supporting the measurement and evaluation of campaigns.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing key relationships to maximise the effectiveness of campaigns and improve overall team efficiency
  • Ensuring effective usage of briefing and plan templates
  • Scheduling effective, integrated, compliant and relevant campaigns
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to recommend delivery timings for planned campaign activity
  • Utilising campaign and channel insight to support with the prioritisation of campaign delivery
  • Supporting in the addressing of key areas of campaign readiness to strengthen campaign success chances
  • Running campaign trafficking and resource management across the Marketing team

What we’re looking for:

  • Good knowledge of Marketing channels and tech stack
  • Experience of managing the scheduling and tracking of campaigns and work and resource management
  • Demonstrable experience devising and planning multiple multi-channel, effective, result-oriented Marketing campaigns across a large team for a diverse range of audiences and propositions
  • A passion for optimising channels to help the wider team deliver Capita’s Marketing objectives
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and relationships
